According to the regional agricultural departments, as of October 6, Kazakh agrarians harvested grains throughout nearly 15 million ha, or 97.7% of the planned areas, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan declared.
As of the reporting date, agrarians produced 22.643 million tons of grains, up by 4.962 million tons YoY. The average yield totaled 1.51 ton/ha (up by 0.15 ton/ha).
In particular, agrarians of North Kazakhstan region harvested 5.612 million tons of grains, Akmola region – 5.645 million tons, Kostanay region – 5.343 million tons, and Karaganda region – 983 thousand tons. (APK-Inform/Business World Magazine)
