Belarus reports a quantitative increase in exports of meat and dairy products in January-July, according to Belstat.
Meat export grew by 12.6% YoY to 180,200 tons, the average price was down by 16.1% to $2,092 per ton. In value terms, Belarus’ meat exports fell by 5.5% to $377.058 million. The CIS states were the major destination of almost all of Belarus’ meat exports in January-July.
Belarus’ export of milk and dairy products grew by 9% in January-July to 630,500 tons, the average price was down by 12% to $1,557 per ton. In value terms, Belarus’ dairy exports fell by 4.1% to $987.922 million.
Belarus’ dairy exports to the CIS states totaled 628,600 tons (+9.2%) at the average price of $1,569 per ton (down by 12.1%), other foreign states – 1,900 tons (down by 34.5%) at the average price of $969 (down by 0.4%) per ton.
Russia remains a major destination of Belarus’ dairy exports – 612,800 tons (+9.4%) worth $957.846 million (down by 3.8%). (Prime-TASS/Business World Magazine)
