State unitary enterprise “Tajik Railways” has acquired a modern long-haul locomotive from Kazakhstan.
It is the fifth locomotive to be purchased in Kazakhstan by the railroad of Tajikistan in recent years.
In addition, in Estonia sold a diesel train, equipped with German engine, consisting of six cars.
Two cars of diesel trains have 68 seats for the passengers, three carriages have 128 seats and one carriage has 48 seats. (Asia-Plus/Business World Magazine)
