General Dembele Adama, the Malian Ministry of Defense and Veterans Affairs’s cabinet chief, said that Mali wanted to sign a new contract with Russia on the purchase of tanks and air force technology, including aircraft, in addition to the existing arms procurement contract.
“We in Mali are interested in receiving Russian weapons. We want to specifically purchase infantry weapons and air force weapons”, General Dembele Adama said. (Russian Aviation/Business World Magazine)
