PayPal is preparing to receive accreditation in Azerbaijan, a source in the country’s e-payment systems market reported.
PayPal has already selected the bank that will represent its interests in Azerbaijan, according to the source. The bank’s name was not revealed.
“The issue of PayPal’s accreditation is currently the subject of discussion of the sides: after the new payment system is officially accredited in Azerbaijan, users will be able to send and receive money on their PayPal accounts”, said the source.
PayPal system offers more convenient and secure way to pay and get paid online. The service allows anyone to pay in any way they prefer, including through credit cards, bank accounts, PayPal Smart Connect or account balances, without sharing financial information.
