Uzbekistan Temir Yollari (Uzbekistan Railways) commissioned into operation a new building of the railway station Andijan, the press service of the Uzbek company said.
The station can provide services to up to 350 passengers an hour simultaneously. Earlier, the figure stood at 50 passengers an hour.
During construction works, administrative building and ticket sales office was built separately. All conditions for workers and passengers were created at the station.
The station has a hotel, currency exchange areas, luggage storage, mother and child room, medical premises. VIP hall was constructed with the use of modern style and national traditions.
The station has modern equipment and tools, which will help to provide high quality services to passengers. (UzDaily/Business World Magazine)
