UkrOboronProm SE “Shepetovka Repair Plant” increased production volume almost 4 times – compared to 2013 – due to the program “Ukrainian shield”, initiated by “UkrOboronProm” in 2015.
“For the first half of 2016 the enterprise manufactured products and services for Ukrainian military valued at nearly 92 million UAH, exceeding last year’s index of 79 million UAH by 16.5%”, the head of the plant Oleg Turinskiy said.
During the first six months of this year, Shepetovka Repair Plant transferred series of restored and repaired products to the military, namely: multiple-launch rocket systems BM-21 “Grad” and 9P140 “Uragan”; self-propelled gun mounts 2S3M “Akatsiya”, 2S5 “Hiatsynt -C”, 2S19 “Msta-C”; artillery fire control vehicles; artillery guns and mortars, command and control means; anti-tank guided missiles and military equipment.
In the context of “Ukrainian shield”, Shepetovka Repair Plant outlined the strategic aspects: introduction of energy saving technologies and transition to modern business management model. This allows to significantly increase productivity and reduce the costs of plant production processes. The conditions for attracting additional investment are being created at the enterprise.
Workers of the plant have been involved in restoration, repair and modernization of military equipment for the needs of the ATO forces from the first days of the military aggression of Russia against Ukraine. “Shepetovka Repair Plant” mobile teams are working together with the Ukrainian military, renovating military equipment and bringing it to the front as soon as possible.
The key priority of “Shepetovka Repair Plant” is timely and high-level state defense order fulfillment. Each year the enterprise increases its contribution in strengthening defense capability of Ukraine.
SE “Shepetovka Repair Plant” (Khmelnytsky region) specializes in repair, renewal, modernization and maintenance of rocket and artillery weapons etc. “Shepetovka Repair Plant” achievements were recognized in 2014 at the national level by assigning it the status “Best Company of the Year”.
UkrOboronProm is developing within the frameworks of the strategy “Ukrainian shield”, focused on high-tech production, transition to international standards (NATO) and supplying the army with modern types of armaments. The State Concern extends cooperation with NATO and EU member countries, as defined by the strategic course of the state.
In 2 years the UkrOboronProm delivered 12,716 units of weapons and military equipment to the law enforcement agencies of Ukraine. Since Q3 2014, the Ukrainian army has received 8012 units of new and modernized military equipment. Also the military received 4704 units of repaired weapons and military equipment.
