Center for coordinating and developing securities market registered 119 emission of shares with total volume of 13.9 trillion soums on par value.
Last year Uzbek companies registered 173 emission of shares for 4.8 trillion soums.
The Center said that the volume of IPO issues made up 1.04 trillion soums, additional emission – 12.08 trillion soums and new issues – 816.7 billion soums.
In the second quarter, the Center registered the largest emissions in history. Uzbekenergo registered the emission for 7.41 trillion soums and Uzbekneftegaz – 3.23 trillion soums, as well as primary emission of Uzqurilishmateriallari for 1 trillion soums. About 50 companies registered the emission of securities.
Number of issued shares and those in circulation made up 2.89 trillion units as of July 1, up by 0.59 trillion units compared to the beginning of 2016 and 0.87 trillion units compared to July 1, 2015.
The volume of issued shares on par value exceeds 29.7 trillion soums, up by 16.8 trillion soums or 2.3 times YoY.
In the first half of 2016, the Center did not register issues of corporate and infrastructure bonds. So far, the Center has registered 158 emission of corporate bonds of 101 enterprises for 298.9 billion soums. Some 96 of them were repaid and 19 annulled. (UzDaily/Business World Magazine)
