Uzbekistan Havo Yollari (Uzbekistan Airways) and Russian airline S7 Airlines signed a code-sharing agreement, envisaging execution of joint flights.
According to the Russian airline, the agreement will allow increasing frequency of flights between Novosibirsk and Tashkent. S7 Airlines conducts its own flights between two cities on Sundays. Now, the airline will also conduct flights on Mondays and Thursdays.
Passengers of S7 Airlines from Novosibirsk will receive opportunity to fly to Namangan, the third largest city of Uzbekistan. The flights will be conducted by Uzbekistan Havo Yollari.
S7 Airlines’ passengers from other cities can fly to Tashkent and Namangan with docking at Novosibirsk airport. The single air ticket will be registered for such routes.
In its turn, code of Uzbekistan Havo Yollari will appear at flights of S7 Airlines – Novosibirsk-Tashkent and Novosibirsk-Ferghana. Passengers from Uzbekistan can fly to Novosibirsk and further to other cities of Russia and foreign states. (UzDaily/Business World Magazine)
