The gross regional product of Samarkand region made up 4.71 trillion soums in January-June.
The volume of industrial output grew by 12%, consumer goods production – by 22%, retail trade – by 13.5%, construction works – by 14.7%, agriculture products – by 7.1%.
Share of small businesses and private entrepreneurship in the gross regional product made up 72.2% and services – 52.5%.
