Exports of agricultural products in Kyrgyzstan in 2017 will amount to 500,000 tons, Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Food and Land Reclamation Erkinbek Choduev said.
According to him, it is 50,000 tons more than in 2016.
“Basically, we send honey and dried fruit to the European Union, to the EEU countries – vegetables, dairy products,” the Deputy Minister said.
As the head of the Ministry of Agriculture Nurbek Murashev said, in 2017 it was planned to sow sugar beet on 15,000 hectares of land. According to forecasts, the harvest will yield at least a million tons of sugar. (24.kg/Business World Magazine)
