In 2016 the State Customs Service of the Kyrgyz Republic has collected 29.3 billion soms, its first deputy chairman Altynbek Torutaev said.
According to him, in comparison with actual receipts of customs duties from the third countries in 2015, 8.6 billion soms more have been collected, up by 141.3%.
Customs payments without fees amounted to 16.2 billion soms, up by 46.3 million YoY.
The duty from the EEU countries amounted to 13.1 billion soms, down by 2.9 billion.
“In 2016 foreign trade turnover formed in the amount of $3.5 billion. The volume of exports of goods amounted to $1.1 billion. The volume of imports – $2.4 billion,” Altynbek Torutaev said. (24.kg/Business World Magazine)
