With the cooling of the weather, 90 residential blocks in the capital and nine educational institutions requested the reconnection of the heating.
According to Termoelectrica, out of the total number of 2675 housing blocks served by the enterprise, 636 opted for the complete cessation of the heating and most of the others adjusted the energy consumption according to the air temperature.
Consumers who wish to benefit from the thermal energy service can request reconnection through the housing fund manager. In conditions where the outside air temperatures drop during the night hours, Termoelectrica said it could supply thermal energy in a sustainable and responsible manner to all consumers.
