The Belarusian state-owned Bobruisk Tractor Units Plant, based in Mogilev region, plans to make a contact till the end of 2016 to ship two hundred Belarus-421 series tractors to Indonesia, a company official reported.
Indonesia’ Ministry of Agriculture has decided to purchase Belarus-421 series tractors in the framework of state programs to support farming.
Exports account for more than 70% of the Belarusian company output. The company exports Belarus tractors, replacement parts and disc brakes, Russia being the major export market.
Belarus tractors account for around 40% of the company’s total exports. The company sold 6.2 million worth of tractors in H1 2016, up by 5% YoY.
In July Bobruisk Tractor Units Plant shipped to Guatemala the first cargo of Belarus-311M small-sized tractors (designed for small farms).
The Bobruisk Tractor Units Plant was established in 1945 and currently is a part of Minsk Tractor Plant. The company specializes in production of mini-tractors with engine capacity ranging from 30 to 62 horsepower. (Prime-TASS/Business World Magazine)
