On the sidelines of a working visit to the United States, Deputy Prime Minister Nicu Popescu, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration attended a roundtable discussion with representatives of the American-Central European Business Association (ACEBA).
According to the MAEIE press service, Popescu expressed the country’s interest in strengthening economic and investment relations with ACEBA member companies, and noted the need to use cooperation potential currently existing.
“Renewable energy, information technology and fintech are just a few areas where we can harness the potential for cooperation, and our government is absolutely committed to improving the investment climate to translate this openness into real projects that will contribute to our economy and create new jobs”, Popescu said.
The ACEBA has as members the following companies: Motorola Solutions, Citi, Exxon Mobil, IBM, Pfizer, Philip Morris International, Pharma, Thermo Fisher, Visa, etc. (Moldpres/Business World Magazine)
