The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) has launched the platform e-Carburanti (e-Fuels) on its official webpage www.anre.md, which represents an interactive map, through which ANRE provides public access to the information on the daily prices for the principal standard-type oil products and the liquefied gas, established by the license holders.
They can be selected for each station or placement address, with possibility to sort data, depending on the criterion of the lowest price according to the settlement (district, municipality/town) or the name of the oil company. As a result, consumers can identify in real time the station from a certain geographical zone which sells a certain type of oil product at the most convenient price.
“Due to the e-Carburanti platform, consumers can learn, for instance, that in Chisinau city, the lowest price for the A 95 petrol and diesel is provided by a station from the Bacioi settlement. In northern Moldova, the cheapest petrol might be found at a fuel supply station from the Glodeni town. In the south, the cheapest petrol might be bought on the national road M3, nearby a settlement from the Cimislia district and the cheapest diesel can be found at a fuel supply station from the Cahul municipality. The information on the e-Carburanti platform will be updated on every working day and will show the prices for fuels posted at the fuel supply stations,” ANRE said.
Thus, the prices operated by oil companies will become fully transparent and any citizen will be able to opt for the station providing the most competitive prices for fuels. This instrument will stimulate the competition between operators and will help switch to a really free market in the oil products sector, ANRE said. (Moldpres/Business World Magazine)
