Throughput of Rosterminalugol in 2016 has reached 9 million tons year-to-date, the company’s press release says.
The milestone ton was loaded on July 20.
Rosterminalugol was established in 1996 to build and operate the coal terminal at Port of Ust-Luga. The company specializes in loading / unloading operations, freight forwarding services, building and maintenance of facilities at the coal terminal located in the Ust-Luga Bay of the Gulf of Finland. The terminal has two berths of total length of 540 meters with depth of 14 meters. The terminal is able to accommodate vessels of up to 240 m in length and 32 m in breadth. In 2015, coal exports via the terminal rose by 13% YoY, to 17.46 million tons. (Portnews/Business World Magazine)
