In January, the general fund of the state budget received UAH 79.4 billion (91.8% of the plan) in taxes and fees controlled by the State Tax Service. This was reported on her Facebook page by the Acting Head of the State Tax Service Lesya Karnaukh.
“The beginning of the new year turned out to be extremely difficult: lack of light, heat, constant shelling by the enemy. However, despite all the challenges, Ukrainian business has been and remains a responsible taxpayer,” Lesya Karnaukh noted.
In January, the largest amount of VAT was refunded – UAH 24.3 billion. Last year, the monthly refund averaged UAH 15 billion.
In total, VAT payments amounted to UAH 58.9 billion.
Key figures for January:
– Personal income tax – UAH 29.2 billion;
– Corporate profit tax – UAH 3.3 billion;
– Excise tax (on manufactured and imported goods) – UAH 7.3 billion;
– Rent payments – UAH 4.1 billion;
– Other revenues – UAH 0.9 billion.
“Unfortunately, the Russian military aggression could not but affect the amount of taxes paid. The negative consequences are already noticeable in a number of basic industries. And our task is to help everyone who works for the country’s economy and the budget,” added the Acting Head of the State Tax Service. (State Tax Service)
