In the first month of this year, single contribution revenues for mandatory state social insurance amounted to UAH 53 billion.
Compared to January last year, this is 15% more. An additional UAH 6.9 billion was received.
The single contribution is one of the key mandatory payments on which the stability of the social insurance system directly depends.
It is paid by employers, individual entrepreneurs and self-employed persons. The funds are used to finance pensions, sick leave, maternity benefits, unemployment benefits and other social guarantees.
Timely and full payment of the single contribution is not only a requirement of the law, but also the personal responsibility of each payer. It is from these contributions that the insurance period is formed, which in the future affects the right to retirement and its amount. (State Tax Service)
