The volume of Russian oil supplies to India in December 2025 will amount to about 1.1 million barrels per day, which will be the lowest figure since November 2022, writes Bloomberg, citing data from Kpler. In November, India bought 1.77 million barrels of crude from Russia per day.
According to estimates, in the second week of December, against the backdrop of intensifying US sanctions against the Russian oil industry, oil purchases from Russia to India fell to 712,000 barrels per day, but then increased.
According to Kpler data, this month, crude supplies from Russia to the HPCL-Mittal Energy oil terminal in Mundra decreased, and the Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals company did not purchase any Russian barrels for the first time since September 2022. Earlier, Indian officials told Bloomberg that, according to their estimates, December imports could fall to 800,000 barrels per day (The Moscow Times).
