A third of small and medium-sized entrepreneurs (SMEs) do not rule out the possibility of closing their businesses within the next six months, according to a survey conducted by the SME association “Opora Russia”, Promsvyazbank, the analytical center NAFI, and Magram Market Research.
To the question “Do you envisage the possibility of closing your business in the next 6 months?”, 67% answered negatively, but the rest do not rule out such a possibility. 20% of entrepreneurs may close their businesses if the current economic situation worsens, and 13% – even if it remains the same (“if the situation does not improve”) (The Moscow Times).
