From 2023 to 2025, more new companies and sole proprietors (SPEs) will be registered in the logistics and transport sector in Ukraine than will be closed, although the trend is uneven. This is according to data from the YC.Market analytics system.
As of early October, the total number of companies and SPEs in the logistics and transport industry in Ukraine was reported to be 260,430.
In the third quarter of 2025, 8,300 SPEs were registered in the transport and logistics sector, double the number registered in the previous quarter. Registration of new logistics companies also increased, with an 11.7% increase in the third quarter compared to the previous quarter.
At the same time, the number of business closures decreased: only 34 companies and 4,300 sole proprietors ceased operations in the quarter, significantly lower than at the beginning of the year.
At the same time, this year’s net growth of sole proprietors in the industry is the smallest in recent years. Despite a record surge in registrations in the summer, the net balance of new and closed sole proprietors is currently close to zero-the lowest figure in the last five years.
Kyiv remains the main logistics hub, while sole proprietors are more evenly distributed (Dnipropetrovsk, Lviv, Kyiv, Odesa, and other regions each account for 5-7%).
The combined revenue of Ukraine’s 15 largest logistics and transportation companies in 2024 exceeded UAH 233 billion.
Ukrzaliznytsia JSC holds the lead by a wide margin, with total revenue of UAH 108.1 billion in 2024 (a 20.5% increase compared to UAH 89.7 billion in 2021).

Logistic Union LLC is a logistics company of the ATB corporate group, providing warehousing and distribution services for grocery chains. Lemtrans is a private operator of freight railcars and part of Rinat Akhmetov’s System Capital Management corporate group.
In the sixth place is the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (UAH 7 billion).
The seventh place goes to Neo-Trans LLC (UAH 6.6 billion), a logistics company from the NOVA Group (the owner of Nova Poshta), specializing in transportation and forwarding services.

The tenth place goes to KT Trading, a company whose main focus is providing the transport industry with fuel and other resources, with revenue of UAH 4.9 billion.
