The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has set new gas prices for electricity generation, effective through March 31, 2026.
The changes are outlined in government resolution No. 1306 dated October 10.
Under the new pricing structure, combined heat and power plants (CHPPs) operating in a cogeneration cycle will pay UAH 21,000 per 1,000 cubic meters of gas. For thermal power plants and CHPPs operating in a condensation cycle, the price is set at 16,000 UAH.
Gas turbine and gas piston units producing electricity only will also pay 16,000 UAH, while similar units operating in a combined cycle to produce both heat and electricity will pay 21,000 UAH. (Ukrinform)
