In April, the Ministry of Finance, in line with budget legislation, facilitated the transfer of interbudgetary grants to local budgets amounting to UAH 15.3 billion, which represents 93.4% of the allocations scheduled for April.
Specifically:
– Basic grants were transferred in the amount of UAH 2.1 billion (100% of the scheduled allocations);
– Additional grants were transferred in the amount of UAH 3.0 billion (82.8% of the scheduled allocations).
As of May 1, the balances in the accounts of local budgets and budgetary institutions, across both general and special funds, stood at UAH 149.2 billion, an increase of UAH 28.6 billion compared to the start of 2025.
These resources enable local authorities to continue funding priority needs at the local level. (Government portal)
