Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi headed a delegation of Ukrainian cities that visited Taiwan as part of the Smart City Summit & Expo. The delegation included representatives from more than 10 Ukrainian cities, including Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Vinnytsia, Mykolaiv, Bucha, Uzhhorod, Zhytomyr, Ternopil and others. The key result of the visit was new agreements on medical cooperation between Lviv and Taiwan.
This concerns, in particular, the implementation of innovative digital solutions for hospitals, in particular in the field of storage and exchange of medical data. These technologies will increase the efficiency of medical institutions, reduce the burden on personnel and expand access to quality services, especially in wartime.
“We are now returning with agreements on another aid package – this is about innovations in the field of medical data, digital solutions for hospitals and “smart” infrastructure that saves lives even during war,” said Andriy Sadovyi. (Lviv City Council)
