The main priorities for the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine are the restoration of energy infrastructure facilities destroyed by russia and their protection from repeated attacks.
This was stated by Minister of Energy German Galushchenko during a meeting with the heads of Ukraine’s foreign diplomatic missions.
The head of the Ministry of Energy outlined the current situation in the energy system and the ways the Government and the Ministry were taking to stabilise the situation.
Currently, the enemy continues to attack the energy system facilities on a daily basis.
German Galushchenko called on the heads of diplomatic missions to actively promote foreign investment in the restoration and development of energy infrastructure, as well as to monitor compliance with the sanctions imposed on the aggressor country.
“Ukraine really has a huge potential to attract foreign investment in the energy sector. We see a real interest of the largest producers and largest companies, and we need to continue to pay great attention to this,” said German Galushchenko.
The minister also reiterated that safe operation of the Zaporizhzhia NPP was possible only under Ukrainian control. (Government portal)
