Zaporizhzhia Automobile Building Plant (ZAZ) plans to produce more than 160 buses this year.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said this in a post on Telegram after visiting the plant.
“We visited Zaporizhzhia Automobile Building Plant that produced Ukrainian school and suburban buses of European quality. Despite Russian terror, the company plans to produce more than 160 buses this year,” he wrote.
Shmyhal stressed that support for the Ukrainian manufacturer was a key element of Ukraine’s economic resilience. He recalled that the government allocated UAH 1 billion in June for the purchase of school buses.
“I talked with the employees. I thanked them for their perseverance and courage,” he added. (Ukrinform)
