Minister of Defence of Ukraine Rustem Umerov met with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell.
“Thank you for your personal involvement and the European Union’s unwavering support for Ukraine,” Rustem Umerov said.
The Defence Minister briefed Josep Borrell on the situation on the frontline and the high intensity of russian attacks on Ukrainian positions.
“It is necessary to significantly accelerate and increase the supply of ammunition to our soldiers in order to repel russian aggression,” Rustem Umerov said in his address to the EU’s top diplomat.
The Head of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry also offered cooperation to European defence companies, in particular in setting up joint ventures and investing in production in Ukraine. (Government portal/Business World Magazine)
