Close to 18.5 million passengers were serviced at the Polish capital city’s Chopin Airport last year, compared to 14.4 million travellers in 2022, the airport announced.
The airport, in a press release published on January 16, reported that it handled 18,499,527 passengers in 2023, up by 28% YoY.
The report added that, also in 2023, Chopin Airport saw a record 2.6 million charter flight passengers.
The top five most popular destinations in 2023, just as in 2022, included London, Paris, Antalya, Amsterdam and Frankfurt.
Warsaw’s Chopin Airport is the largest airport in Poland. During last year’s holiday season, it serviced more than 7.5 million passengers. (PAP/Business World Magazine)
