Taxpayers continue to support Ukraine in difficult times of war by paying their taxes in good faith. Thanks to their responsible social attitude and patriotism, the budget consistently receives much-needed funds for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and social payments to the citizens.
According to the latest data, in 2023 the consolidated budget revenues (balance) from payments controlled by the State Tax Service amounted to UAH 1,213.6 billion. The state budget received UAH 783.6 billion, and local budgets received UAH 430 billion.
The revenues (balance) to the general fund of the state budget in 2023 amounted to UAH 740.1 billion. The revenues of the general fund of the state budget were fulfilled by 100.7% of the plan of the Ministry of Finance. At the same time, UAH 132.4 billion in VAT was refunded to taxpayers.
As for taxes, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine exceeded its budget targets for corporate income tax by 29.9% and for excise tax on manufactured and imported goods (products) by 15.9%.
As for the main payments, in 2023 compared to the previous year, personal income tax and fees increased by 18.6%, corporate income tax by 22.9% and excise tax on manufactured and imported goods (products) 1.3-fold.
