Poland’s core inflation, which excludes the prices of food and energy, measured 7.3% YoY in November and was down from October’s 8.0%, the National Bank of Poland (NBP) reported.
Inflation excluding fixed prices amounted to 5.2% in November, up from the level of 5.1% in the previous month, the central bank said.
Inflation excluding the most volatile items measured 9.2% in November, down from 9.9% in October.
The 15% trimmed mean inflation reached 7.6% YoY in November, down from 8.3% in the previous month.
According to the Central Statistical Office (GUS), prices of consumer goods and services (Consumer Price Index, CPI) edged up to 6.6% YoY in November from 6.5% YoY in October. (PAP/Business World Magazine)
