Table grapes producers record a favorable situation in export. Over the past two weeks, winegrowers managed to increase the quantity and value of grape exports by 32.5% and 38.5%, respectively, compared to the same period of last year.
According to data by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry (MAIA), over the last two weeks, about 10 thousand tons were exported, with a total value of over $6 million.
The main destinations of the export of grapes are the Russian Federation – 3.3 thousand tons (34%) and Romania – about 2.1 thousand tons (or 22%), according to data of the Ministry of Agriculture. (Moldpres/Business World Magazine)
