Ukraine’s Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) have signed a memorandum of cooperation to strengthen the Army of Drones project within the framework of the UNITED24 platform.
“I am grateful to the head and team of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office for their cooperation, which promotes the development of the UAVs sector and supports the Armed Forces of Ukraine. For UAH 650 million, received due to the SAPO work, hundreds of drones were purchased for the Armed Forces and GUR, as well as a significant number of IFV-2 for the Offensive Guard brigades. This is a powerful contribution to the preservation of lives of our military personnel,” stressed Deputy Prime Minister for Innovations, Development of Education, Science and Technologies – Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.
Thanks to the Army of Drones project, launched as part of UNITED24, 3,864 reconnaissance and attack UAVs were contracted. More than 10,000 military personnel have undergone relevant training.
