The Ukrainian authorities are interested in close energy cooperation with Poland, Ukraine’s Ambassador to Poland Vasyl Zvarych has said.
“We appreciate our cooperation very much. We have many projects that are already being implemented, despite Russian aggression,” Zvarych said, adding that Kyiv was interested in ensuring that such energy cooperation with Warsaw was as close as possible.
He said Polish-Ukrainian cooperation in the energy sector was not only about supporting Ukraine during Russian aggression.
According to him, Ukraine is already cooperating with Poland in the development of the Polish nuclear energy program. Ukrainian experts share their experience regarding the possibility of using this type of energy. Ukraine also supports Polish efforts to build a gas hub for countries in this region.
