51 projects within the European Village National Programme were successfully finished last year. Their overall value is 59 million lei (2.95 million euros). Thus, 251 mayoralties received money for the works carried out, the National Office for Regional and Local Development (ONDRL) reported.
As many as 490 out of the total number of 492 projects, included in the Single Programme Document (DUP) 2022-2023, are with approved financing. As a result, in September-December 2022, ONDRL monitored the process of implementation of projects and registered 51 finished projects and 313 projects were underway.
Another 113 projects are in procedures of public acquisitions. Two projects were excluded from DUP, as the costs were ascertained as non-eligible.
In 2022, the sum of financial means disbursed for local development projects is about 344 million lei from the National Fund for Regional and Local Development. This accounts for 18% of the overall value of 1.8 billion lei.
