A total of 710 businesses have been relocated in Ukraine since the relocation program was launched, and 500 of them have already resumed operation.
The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian Economy Deputy Minister Oleksandr Hryban during a nationwide telethon.
“Today, we have registered 1,796 requests from businesses. 710 enterprises have already been relocated, and 500 of them have already resumed operation and are working successfully,” Hryban said.
In his words, most businesses moved to western Ukraine, namely Lviv region (29% of requests), Zakarpattia region (18%) and Chernivtsi region (12%).
According to Hryban, 576 enterprises refused relocation services, as the area they were doing business in had been de-occupied.
Currently, the Ukrainian Economy Ministry is seeking a location or transport means for 515 businesses. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
