Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal met with President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Odile Renaud-Basso on the sidelines of the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Lugano.
“On the sidelines of the Ukraine Recovery Conference, a meeting was held with President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Odile Renaud-Basso. We discussed the implementation of current projects and the prospects for launching new projects,” Shmyhal said in a Telegram post.
He offered the EBRD to participate in the financing of the project on constructing mobile boiler houses, since at least two hundred of them in Ukraine were destroyed by Russia. Shmyhal also raised an issue on purchasing special equipment for cleaning drinking water.
“I personally thanked Ms. Renaud-Basso for allocating 2 billion euros to support the stability of Ukraine and help victims of the war as part of the Assistance Package in connection with the military actions in Ukraine,” the Prime Minister added. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
