Poland’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) increased by 8.5% YoY in the first quarter of 2022, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) said in a flash estimate on May 17.
Economists polled by PAP expected GDP to rise by 8.1%.
Quarter on quarter, Poland’s GDP grew by 2.4% in the first three months of this year, GUS said.
In the fourth quarter of 2021, the country’s GDP rose by 7.6% YoY, GUS said. (The First News/Business World Magazine)
