The bid prices for corn decreased in the Ukrainian ports of the Danube (Reni and Izmail) last week.
High supply on the domestic market that exceeded the demand as well as limited capacity of ports and overloaded logistics pressured the prices.
The bid prices of corn decreased to $215-235/ton CPT-port and $280-285/ton FOB in the ports of Reni and Izmail. Sometimes the prices were announced at $200/ton CPT-port and $270/ton FOB.
A week ago, higher demand from importers pushed the prices up to $220-240/ton CPT-port and $285-290/ton FOB. (APK-Inform/Business World Magazine)
