During his working visit to Warsaw, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal announced that since the beginning of the full-blown russian invasion of Ukraine, the country had obtained more than $12 billion in support in the shape of weaponry and finances.
“These are funds from Ukraine’s allies that help us defend our freedom and resist russian aggression. The Ukrainian people feel the solidarity of the EU countries and of the whole civilized world,” the Prime Minister stressed.
Moreover, Denys Shmyhal highlighted that Ukraine’s victory would be not only on the battlefield. The final victory will come when Ukraine becomes a member of the European Union, a wealthy and developed country. According to the Prime Minister, the assistance of a united Europe is crucial in this matter.
“All our allies express their readiness to help Ukraine with reconstruction after our victory. The Ukrainian Government is already shaping a new vision of our state’s development and economic transformation,” the Prime Minister stressed.
According to Denys Shmyhal, 10 main sectors and formats of the future Recovery Plan have been identified. The key one is membership in the European Union. It is also the development of the military-industrial complex, energy independence, deregulation and minimal interference of authorities in businesses’ activities, support for processing sector and climate modernization.
