Lithuania has sent heavy mortars worth tens of millions of euros to Ukraine, Defence Minister Arvydas Anusauskas has said.
“We’ve transferred heavy mortars to Ukraine as aid,” Anusauskas said. “I won’t give the number, but we’ve transferred quite a few of them.”
According to the minister, Lithuania has already sent to Ukraine not only Stinger missile systems, but also other anti-tank and anti-aircraft weapons, ammunition, grenades, machine guns, submachine guns, communications equipment, etc.
“It is difficult to list everything. A month ago, I counted 35 various types of military aid items,” he said. (LRT/Business World Magazine)
