Inspectors of the National Food Safety Agency (ANSA) have found a batch of imported strawberries with exceeded maximal limit of residuum of Acetamiprid pesticide.
According to ANSA, the sale of the non-conforming consignment was prohibited and an instruction was issued to withdraw it from trade.
With the appearance of new season fruits and vegetables, the National Food Safety Agency boosts controls based on the program on monitoring and supervision, approved for 2022.
Consumers are urged to buy food products from authorized or officially registered places. Traders must have acts confirming the inoffensiveness of the vegetal products, which they sell and namely: reports of attempts carried out by an accredited laboratory or the certificate of inoffensiveness, which they should present to consumer, upon request.
