Ukraine extracted 2.4 billion cubic meters of natural gas from its underground gas storage facilities in January, the press service of JSC Ukrtransgaz reported.
“In January, 2.4 billion cubic meters of natural gas were extracted from Ukrainian underground gas storage facilities, down by 7.8% YoY. Since the beginning of the 2021-2022 extraction season, 7.5 billion cubic meters of gas have been extracted from Ukrainian underground storage facilities,” the report says.
As of February 1, natural gas reserves in Ukrainian underground storage facilities amounted to 11.1 billion cubic meters. At the same time, foreign traders stored 0.2 billion cubic meters of fuel in the “customs warehouse” mode, including 0.13 billion cubic meters in the “short-haul” mode. Resident companies stored 0.42 billion cubic meters of gas in the “customs warehouse” mode, including 0.34 billion cubic meters in the “short-haul” mode. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
