Uzbekistan and Turkey intend to launch the system enabling to ensure the electronic exchange of permit forms for the carriage of goods, Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Transport has reported.
As part of the first stage of its implementation, the Ministry of Transport for the first time organized a test car rally using E-Permit.
On November 6, the convoy left Uzbekistan and arrived in Turkey on November 10 through the “Sarp” checkpoint. It was welcomed by representatives of the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, as well as the customs administration.
The introduction of an e-system would help speed up transport operations and increase trade between the two republics. (Uzreport/Business World Magazine)
