In January-October, 254 participants left the market of non-bank financial institutions, and 156 new participants entered the market, according to the Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) Kyrylo Shevchenko.
“Over ten months of 2021, 254 institutions left the market. Currently, 1,920 participants operate in the market of non-bank financial institutions. Instead, in ten months of 2021, 156 new participants entered the market of non-bank financial services,” Shevchenko wrote on Facebook.
In January-October, 479 measures of influence were applied to financial institutions following off-site and on-site supervision. In particular, the regulator suspended licenses of 161 companies, imposed fines on 124 institutions and revoked licenses of 88 companies. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
