The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) expects that Ukraine will receive a $700-million tranche from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) until the end of the year.
NBU Governor Kyrylo Shevchenko said this at a briefing on October 21.
“This year, and it will, of course, depend on the IMF board, we expect a tranche worth SDR 500 million or about $700 million. We expect the remaining amount under the program in the first and second quarters of next year,” Shevchenko said. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
