The Ministry of Finance raised UAH 2.15 billion to the state budget at an auction for the placement of domestic government bonds, according to the ministry’s press service.
“On October 19, at auctions for the placement of domestic government bonds, the Finance Ministry offered investors two issues of securities in the national currency. Overall, UAH 2,148 million was attracted to the state budget from the placement of securities,” according to the report posted on the ministry’s Facebook page.
The budget received UAH 1,064 million from the placement of one-year bonds in the national currency and UAH 105 million from two-year bonds. The average yield of one-year bonds was 11.5% and two-year bonds – 12.4%.
In turn, $37 million was raised from the placement of bonds denominated in the foreign currency. The average yield remained unchanged at 3.9%. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
