As of September 13, Ukraine registered 15,533 agreements on the purchase and sale of agricultural land, the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food reported.
According to the ministry, 4,943 notaries submitted applications for access to the State Land Cadastre.
The total number of applications is 5,552. Of these, 4,905 applications were approved, whereas 641 were rejected.
According to the ministry, 35,876 hectares of agricultural land have already been sold throughout Ukraine since July 1. The largest areas of farmland were sold in Kirovohrad region (4,930.9 ha), Kharkiv region (4,236 ha) and Poltava region (3,599.5 ha). (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
