The Ukrainian low-cost airline Bees Airline has performed its first flight from Kyiv to Samarkand.
A solemn event was held with traditional dances, dishes of national cuisine reflecting the whole flavor of the Uzbek people. The participants were also presented with the tourist potential of Samarkand, and the visitors expressed their intention to visit Samarkand again in the near future.
Direct flights on the route “Kyiv-Samarkand-Kyiv” are to start from August 30.
Flights will be operated on Boeing 737-800 aircraft once a week. (Uzreport/Business World Magazine)
