The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine will allocate UAH 106 million from the reserve fund of the state budget for the restoration of aircraft used in emergencies and other civil defense tasks. The relevant decision was initiated by the Ministry of Economy.
“The Government is constantly taking measures to prevent threats to the lives of Ukrainian citizens and ensure environmental protection. To extinguish extensive fires and floods, as well as to perform humanitarian aid missions. It is extremely important for the Government to maintain the aircraft of the State Emergency Service in good condition,” said First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy of Ukraine Oleksiy Lyubchenko.
The funds will be used to repair 7 planes and 12 helicopters that are currently in poor condition. (Government portal/Business World Magazine)
